ଅନୁଗୋଳ, ନାଲକୋ: ନାଲକୋ ର ଭବିଷ୍ୟତ ଅଭିବୃଦ୍ଧି ପାଇଁ ଏକ ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ବିକାଶରେ, କମ୍ପାନୀ ଅନୁଗୁଳରେ ଏହାର କ୍ୟାପ୍ଟିଭ୍ ପାୱାର ପ୍ଲାଣ୍ଟ (CPP) ର ବିସ୍ତାର କରିବାକୁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ, ଯାହା ଦ୍ୱାରା ୨୭୦ ମେଗାୱାଟ୍ କ୍ଷମତା ବିଶିଷ୍ଟ ଚାରୋଟି ନୂତନ ବିଦ୍ୟୁତ୍ ଉତ୍ପାଦନ ୟୁନିଟ୍ ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା ହେବ।ଅନୁଗୋଳ ରେ ନାଲକୋ ସ୍ମେଲ୍ଟର ଏବଂ ପାୱାର କମ୍ପ୍ଲେକ୍ସର ଦୁଇ ଦିନିଆ ଗସ୍ତ ସମୟରେ, ନାଲକୋର ସିଏମଡି ଶ୍ରୀ ବ୍ରିଜେନ୍ଦ୍ର ପ୍ରତାପ ସିଂହ, ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶକ (ଉତ୍ପାଦନ) ଶ୍ରୀ ପଙ୍କଜ ଶର୍ମା ଏବଂ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶକ (ପ୍ରକଳ୍ପ) ଶ୍ରୀ ଜଗଦୀଶ ଆରୋରାଙ୍କ ସହିତ, ଚାଲୁଥିବା ସମ୍ପ୍ରସାରଣ ଯୋଜନା ସମୀକ୍ଷା କରିଥିଲେ ଏବଂ ପ୍ରସ୍ତାବିତ ନୂତନ ୟୁନିଟ୍ ପାଇଁ ଜମି ଚିହ୍ନଟ କରିଥିଲେ।ସିପିପି ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ୧୨୦ ମେଗାୱାଟ୍ ର ଦଶଟି ୟୁନିଟ୍ ପରିଚାଳନା କରୁଛି, ଏବଂ ୨୦୧୦ ପରଠାରୁ କୌଣସି ସମ୍ପ୍ରସାରଣ ହୋଇନାହିଁ। ସ୍ମେଲ୍ଟର ପ୍ଲାଣ୍ଟର ଆଗାମୀ ସମ୍ପ୍ରସାରଣ ସହିତ, ସିପିପିରେ ପ୍ରସ୍ତାବିତ ଚାରୋଟି ନୂତନ ୟୁନିଟ୍ ବର୍ଦ୍ଧିତ ଉତ୍ପାଦନ ଚାହିଦା ପୂରଣ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ସ୍ଥିର ଏବଂ ବର୍ଦ୍ଧିତ ବିଦ୍ୟୁତ୍ ଉତ୍ପାଦନ କ୍ଷମତା ସୁନିଶ୍ଚିତ କରିବ। ସମ୍ପ୍ରସାରଣ ପାଇଁ ବିସ୍ତୃତ ପ୍ରକଳ୍ପ ରିପୋର୍ଟ (DPR) ଆଗାମୀ ଦଶ ଦିନ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଚୂଡ଼ାନ୍ତ ହେବ ବୋଲି ଆଶା କରାଯାଉଛି। ନୂତନ ସ୍ଥାପନ ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରାୟ 200 ଏକର ଜମି ଆବଶ୍ୟକ ହେବ ଏବଂ ଏଥିପାଇଁ CPP ପରିସରରେ ଥିବା ଜମି ଚିହ୍ନଟ କରାଯାଇଛି।ସ୍ଥଳ ଯାଞ୍ଚ ଏବଂ ସମୀକ୍ଷା ବୈଠକରେ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟନିର୍ବାହୀ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶକ (S&P) ଶ୍ରୀ ସଚିଦାନନ୍ଦ ଜେନା, ମୁଖ୍ୟ ମହାପ୍ରବନ୍ଧକ (CPP) ଶ୍ରୀ ସତ୍ୟବାଦୀ ମିଶ୍ର, ମୁଖ୍ୟ ମହାପ୍ରବନ୍ଧକ (HR) ଶ୍ରୀ ହିମାଂସୁ ଶେଖର ପ୍ରଧାନ, NALCOର ବରିଷ୍ଠ ଅଧିକାରୀ ଏବଂ ସ୍ୱୀକୃତିପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ୟୁନିଅନ – ନାଲକୋ ଶ୍ରମିକ କଂଗ୍ରେସ ୟୁନିଅନ (NSCU)ର ପ୍ରତିନିଧିମାନେ ଯୋଗ ଦେଇଥିଲେ।ଏହି ଅବସରରେ NSCUର ସାଧାରଣ ସମ୍ପାଦକ ଶ୍ରୀ ବିଭବ ଜେନା ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱାରୋପ କରିଥିଲେ ଯେ ୟୁନିଟ 1 ରୁ 6 ୟୁନିଟ ଗୁଡ଼ିକ ବହୁତ ପୁରୁଣା ହୋଇଯାଇଥିବାରୁ ଏବଂ ଆଧୁନିକୀକରଣର ଆବଶ୍ୟକତା ଥିବାରୁ ୟୁନିଅନ ଦୀର୍ଘ ଦିନ ଧରି CPPର ସମ୍ପ୍ରସାରଣ ପାଇଁ ଦାବି କରିଆସୁଛି। ସେ କହିଥିଲେ ଯେ ପ୍ରାୟ 15 ବର୍ଷ ପରେ, ଏହି ଦୀର୍ଘ ପ୍ରତୀକ୍ଷିତ ସମ୍ପ୍ରସାରଣ ପ୍ରକଳ୍ପ NALCOର ବିଦ୍ୟୁତ୍ ପରିଚାଳନା ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରଗତି ଏବଂ ସ୍ଥାୟୀତ୍ୱର ଏକ ନୂତନ ଅଧ୍ୟାୟ ଖୋଲିବ।ଏହି ସମ୍ପର୍କରେ, ଶ୍ରୀ ବିଭବ ଜେନା CPPର ଭବିଷ୍ୟତ କ୍ଷମତାକୁ ସୁଦୃଢ଼ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଏହି ସକ୍ରିୟ ଏବଂ ଦୂରଦୃଷ୍ଟିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ପଦକ୍ଷେପ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିବା ପାଇଁ NALCOର CMD ଶ୍ରୀ ବ୍ରିଜେନ୍ଦ୍ର ପ୍ରତାପ ସିଂହଙ୍କୁ ଆନ୍ତରିକ ଧନ୍ୟବାଦ ଜଣାଇଥିଲେ। ଏହି ସମ୍ପ୍ରସାରଣ ବିଦ୍ୟୁତ ଉତ୍ପାଦନରେ ଅଧିକ ଆତ୍ମନିର୍ଭରଶୀଳତା ଆଡକୁ ନାଲକୋର ଯାତ୍ରାରେ ଏକ ମାଇଲଖୁଣ୍ଟ ଭାବରେ ଚିହ୍ନିତ କରେ ଏବଂ କମ୍ପାନୀର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ଷମ ଉତ୍କୃଷ୍ଟତା ଏବଂ ଅଭିବୃଦ୍ଧି ପ୍ରତି ପ୍ରତିବଦ୍ଧତାକୁ ପ୍ରତିଫଳିତ କରେ।

NALCO Initiates Expansion CPP with Four New Units.

Angul, Nalco:
In a significant development for NALCO’s future growth, the company is all set to expand its Captive Power Plant (CPP) at Angul with the establishment of four new power generation units of 270 MW capacity.
During a two-day visit to the NALCO Smelter and Power Complex at Angul, NALCO CMD Shri Brijendra Pratap Singh, along with Director (Production) Shri Pankaj Sharma and Director (Projects) Shri Jagdish Arora, reviewed the ongoing expansion plans and identified land for the proposed new units.
The CPP currently operates ten units of 120 MW each, and no expansion has taken place since 2010. With the upcoming expansion of the Smelter Plant, the proposed four new units at CPP will ensure stable and enhanced power generation capacity to meet the growing production demands. The Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the expansion is expected to be finalized within the next ten days. Around 200 acres of land will be required for the new installations, and the land within the CPP premises has been identified for this purpose.
The site inspection and review meeting were attended by Executive Director (S&P) Shri Sachidananda Jena, Chief General Manager (CPP) Shri Satyabadi Mishra, Chief General Manager (HR) Shri Himansu Sekhar Pradhan, senior NALCO officials, and representatives of the recognized union—Nalco Shramik Congress Union (NSCU).
Speaking on the occasion, NSCU General Secretary Shri Bibhab Jena emphasized that the union had long been demanding expansion of the CPP, as Units 1 to 6 have become considerably old and require modernization. He stated that after nearly 15 years, this long-awaited expansion project will open a new chapter of progress and sustainability for NALCO’s power operations.
In this connection, Shri Bibhab Jena extended heartfelt thanks to NALCO CMD Shri Brijendra Pratap Singh for taking this proactive and visionary initiative to strengthen the CPP’s future capacity.
This expansion marks a milestone in NALCO’s journey toward greater self-reliance in power generation and reflects the company’s commitment to operational excellence and growth.
