ମେରାମଣ୍ଡଳୀ, ୨୧. ୧୧/୨୦୨୫: ଢେଙ୍କାନାଳ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ମେରାମଣ୍ଡଳୀଠାରେ ଟାଟା ଷ୍ଟିଲ ଫାଉଣ୍ଡେସନ (ଟିଏସ୍ଏଫ୍) ସହଯୋଗରେ ପରିଚାଳିତ ଗୃହଲକ୍ଷ୍ମୀ ସମବାୟ ସମିତିକୁ ମହିଳା ବହୁମୁଖୀ ସମବାୟ ସମିତି (ଡବ୍ଲ୍ୟୁଏମପିସିଏସ୍) ବର୍ଗରେ ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ ସମବାୟ ସମିତି ପୁରସ୍କାର ମିଳିଛି।୨୦୨୫ ନଭେମ୍ବର ୧୯ରେ ଭୁବନେଶ୍ୱରଠାରେ ଅନୁଷ୍ଠିତ ୭୨ତମ ନିଖିଳ ଭାରତୀୟ ସମବାୟ ସପ୍ତାହ ପାଳନ ଅବସରରେ ମାନ୍ୟବର ସମବାୟ, ହସ୍ତତନ୍ତ ଓ ହସ୍ତକଳା ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଶ୍ରୀ ପ୍ରଦୀପ ବଳସାମନ୍ତ ଏହି ପୁରସ୍କାର ପ୍ରଦାନ କରିଥିଲେ I ଏହି ଅବସରରେ ଓଡ଼ିଶା ସରକାରଙ୍କ ସମବାୟ ବିଭାଗ କମିସନର ତଥା ସଚିବ ଆଇଏଏସ ଶ୍ରୀ ରାଜେଶ ପ୍ରଭାକର ପାଟିଲ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ଥିଲେ । ଗୃହଲକ୍ଷ୍ମୀ ସମବାୟ ସମିତି ସଭାପତି ପଦ୍ମିନୀ ସେନାପତି, ମଣ୍ଡଳ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶକ ସବିତା ନାୟକ ଟାଟା ଷ୍ଟିଲ୍ ଫାଉଣ୍ଡେସନର ପ୍ରତିନିଧିଙ୍କ ଉପସ୍ଥିତିରେ ଏହି ପୁରସ୍କାର ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିଥିଲେ Iଶିଳ୍ପ ସମୃଦ୍ଧ ଏହି ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ ମହିଳା ସଶକ୍ତିକରଣ ପାଇଁ ଟାଟା ଷ୍ଟିଲ୍ ଫାଉଣ୍ଡେସନ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ୨୦୨୦ରେ ଗୃହଲକ୍ଷ୍ମୀ ସମବାୟ ସମିତି ଗଠନ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା I ଏହି ସମିତିରେ ଓଡା ପଡ଼ା, ହିନ୍ଦୋଳ ଏବଂ ନୂଆହତାର ମହିଳାମାନେ ସାମିଲ ହୋଇଛନ୍ତି।ଓଡ଼ିଶା ସମବାୟ ସମିତି ନିୟମ ୧୯୬୨ ଅଧୀନରେ ଏହି ସଂଗଠନ ଆରମ୍ଭ ହୋଇଥିଲା I ସମିତି ସଦସ୍ୟମାନେ ସଶକ୍ତ ହେବା ସହ ପରିବାର, ସ୍ଥାନୀୟ ଅଞ୍ଚଳ ଓ ଅର୍ଥନୀତିରେ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ୍ଷ ଯୋଗଦାନ ଦେଉଛନ୍ତି।ଏଥିରେ ଟାଟା ଷ୍ଟିଲ ମେରାମଣ୍ଡଳୀ ଅଧୀନସ୍ଥ ୮ଟି ଗ୍ରାମର ୨୨୫୦ ସଦସ୍ୟ ରହିଛନ୍ତି । ଏହି ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ ଲଘୁ ମହିଳା ଉଦ୍ୟୋଗୀଙ୍କ ଏକ ନେଟୱର୍କ ରହିଛି । ୨୦୨୪-୨୫ରେ ସମିତିର କାରବାର ୯୯ ଲକ୍ଷ ଟଙ୍କା ରହିଥିଲା I ଏହି ଉପଲବ୍ଧି ବିଭିନ୍ନ ଉପାୟରେ ସମ୍ଭବ ହୋଇଥିଲା,ଯେପରିକି – ଦୁଗ୍ଧଜାତ ସାମଗ୍ରୀ ଯୋଗାଣ, କ୍ୟାଟରିଙ୍ଗ ସେବା, ଲଘୁ ଉଦ୍ୟୋଗ ବିକାଶ, ଗୋଷ୍ଠି ଆଧାରିତ ଋଣ ସହାୟତା ଇତ୍ୟାଦି। ମହିଳାମାନଙ୍କ ଏହି ସଫଳତା ପାଇଁ ମିଳିଥିବା ସମ୍ମାନ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମନୋବଳ ଆହୁରି ଦୃଢ କରିବା ସହ ଅର୍ଥନୈତିକ ସୁଯୋଗର ସମ୍ପ୍ରସାରଣ, ଲଘୁ ଉଦ୍ୟୋଗ ସୁଦୃଢ ଓ ସ୍ଥାନୀୟ ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ ଉଦ୍ୟମିତାକୁ ସମୃଦ୍ଧ କରିବାରେ ସହାୟକ ହେବ ।ଏହି ସମ୍ମାନ ଓ ନିରନ୍ତର ସମର୍ଥନ ପାଇଁ ସମିତିର ବୋର୍ଡ ଅଫ୍ ଡାଇରେକ୍ଟର୍ସର ସଦସ୍ୟମାନେ ଓଡ଼ିଶା ସରକାରଙ୍କ ସମବାୟ ବିଭାଗ ଓ ଟାଟା ଷ୍ଟିଲ୍ ଫାଉଣ୍ଡେସନକୁ କୃତଜ୍ଞତା ଜଣାଇଛନ୍ତି I ନିଜର ଉଦ୍ୟମକୁ ବ୍ୟାପକ କରିବା ଏବଂ ନିରନ୍ତର ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ ବିକାଶ ଦିଗରେ ଯୋଗଦାନ ଜାରି ରଖିବାକୁ ଏହି ପୁରସ୍କାର ଗୃହଲକ୍ଷ୍ମୀ ସମିତିର ସଦସ୍ୟକୁ ଅନୁପ୍ରାଣିତ କରିବ।ମହିଳାଙ୍କ ଦ୍ବାରା ପରିଚାଳିତ ଏହି ସମବାୟ ସମିତି ନୂଆ ବିଶ୍ବାସ ସହ ଆଗକୁ ବଢ଼ୁଥିବା ବେଳେ ଟାଟା ଷ୍ଟିଲ୍ ଫାଉଣ୍ଡେସନ ଏହାର ସମର୍ଥନକୁ ଆହୁରି ଦୃଢ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରତିବଦ୍ଧ ରହିଛି।
Gruhalaxami Cooperative Society, Supported by Tata Steel Foundation Wins Best Women Cooperative Society Award
Meramandali, November 21, 2025: The Gruhalaxami Cooperative Society, Meramandali enabled by Tata Steel Foundation (TSF), has been honoured with the Best Cooperative Society Award under the Women Multi-Purpose Cooperative Society (WMPCS) category.The award was presented by Hon’ble Minister for Cooperation, Handloom and Handicrafts, Shri Pradeep Bal Samanta, in the presence of Shri Rajesh Prabhakar Patil, IAS, Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Department of Cooperation, Government of Odisha, during the 72nd Nikhil Bharatiya Samabaya Week celebrations at Bhubaneswar, on 19 November 2025.The award was received by Padmini Senapati, President of the Gruhalaxami Cooperative Society, along with Board of Director Ms. Sabita Naik, in the presence of representatives from Tata Steel Foundation.To uplift and empower women in the region, Tata Steel Foundation facilitated the establishment of the women-led Gruhalaxami Cooperative Society at Meramandali in 2020, covering the Odapada, Hindol and Nuahata. Formed under the Odisha Cooperative Societies Act, 1962, the cooperative, run of the women, by the women and for the women, is enabling its members to become active contributors to their households, communities and the local economy.Since then, the Cooperative has grown into a strong women-led institution with 2,250 shareholders across eight Panchayats around Tata Steel Meramandali and a flourishing network of women led micro enterprises, creating a robust ecosystem of livelihoods and enterprise. In FY 2024-25, the Society achieved an impressive 99 lakh turnover, driven by diverse services including grocery and dairy feed supply, catering, micro-enterprise development and community-based credit support. This recognition highlights the Cooperative Society’s significant role in advancing women’s empowerment by expanding economic opportunities, strengthening micro-enterprises, enhancing skills and nurturing entrepreneurship across the region.The Board of Directors and members expressed their gratitude to the Department of Cooperation, Government of Odisha, for the honour and to Tata Steel Foundation for its continued support. The award further motivates the Cooperative to scale its efforts and contribute to inclusive and sustainable community development.As the Cooperative progresses with renewed confidence, Tata Steel Foundation remains committed to deepening its support and advancing meaningful livelihood opportunities for women across Dhenkanal.
