ହାତୀ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ଉପରେ ସଚେତନତା କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମ ଏବଂ ରାଲି:
ଅନୁଗୋଳ – ୧୮ ଡିସେମ୍ବର ୨୦୨୫ ରେ, କୁମୁଣ୍ଡା ହାଇସ୍କୁଲର ଇକୋ-କ୍ଲବ କଣିହା ରେଞ୍ଜର କଣିହା ବିଟ୍, କଣିହା-୧ ସେକ୍ସନ ଅନ୍ତର୍ଗତ କାମରେଇ ଗ୍ରାମ ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ ହାତୀ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ଉପରେ ଏକ ସଚେତନତା କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମ ଏବଂ ରାଲି ଆୟୋଜନ କରିଥିଲା, ଯାହାର ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟ ଥିଲା ହାତୀ ସଂରକ୍ଷଣର ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱ, ମଣିଷ-ହାତୀ ସଂଘର୍ଷ ହ୍ରାସ କରିବା ଏବଂ ଜଙ୍ଗଲ ବାସସ୍ଥାନକୁ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ଦେବା। ଛାତ୍ରଛାତ୍ରୀମାନେ ପ୍ଲାକାର୍ଡ ପ୍ରଦର୍ଶନ କରି ଏବଂ ବନ୍ୟପ୍ରାଣୀ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ଉପରେ ସଚେତନତା ପ୍ରସାର କରିବା ପାଇଁ ସ୍ଲୋଗାନ ଦେଇ ସକ୍ରିୟ ଭାବରେ ଅଂଶଗ୍ରହଣ କରିଥିଲେ, ଯେତେବେଳେ କଣିହା ରେଞ୍ଜର ବନ ଅଧିକାରୀମାନେ ଅଂଶଗ୍ରହଣକାରୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ମାର୍ଗଦର୍ଶନ କରିଥିଲେ ଏବଂ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ଏବଂ ହାତୀ ସହିତ ଶାନ୍ତିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ସହାବସ୍ଥାନ ଉପରେ ବ୍ୟବହାରିକ ଟିପ୍ସ ବାଣ୍ଟିଥିଲେ। ଏହି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମ ସଫଳତାର ସହିତ ସାମୁଦାୟିକ ସଚେତନତାକୁ ସୁଦୃଢ଼ କରିଥିଲା ଏବଂ ଏକ ସ୍ଥାୟୀ ଭବିଷ୍ୟତ ପାଇଁ ହାତୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ଏବଂ ଜୈବ ବିବିଧତା ସଂରକ୍ଷଣର ସାମୂହିକ ଦାୟିତ୍ୱକୁ ଆଲୋକିତ କରିଥିଲା, ଏବଂ କୁମୁଣ୍ଡା ହାଇସ୍କୁଲ ଏବଂ ବନ ବିଭାଗ ଦ୍ୱାରା ମିଳିତ ଭାବରେ ସମନ୍ୱିତ ହୋଇଥିଲା।ପ୍ରଧାନ ଶିକ୍ଷକ ଶ୍ରୀ ପ୍ରଶାନ୍ତ କୁମାର ବେହେରାଙ୍କ ସହିତ ବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟର ସମସ୍ତ ଶିକ୍ଷକଙ୍କ ସକ୍ରିୟ ଅଂଶଗ୍ରହଣରେ ଏହି ରାଲି ପରିଚାଳିତ ହୋଇଥିଲା ଏବଂ ବନ କର୍ମଚାରୀମାନେ ବନପାଳ ଶ୍ରୀ ଦୀପକ କୁମାର ସେଠୀ; ବନରକ୍ଷୀ ଶ୍ରୀମତୀ ମନୋସ୍ମିତା ସାହୁ; ବନ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ଅଧିକାରୀ; ଶ୍ରୀମତୀ କବିତା ପ୍ରଧାନ, ବନରକ୍ଷୀ; ଏବଂ ଶ୍ରୀ ଦୀପକ କୁମାର ସାହୁ, ବନରକ୍ଷୀ। ହାତୀ ଦଳରେ ସଦସ୍ୟମାନେ, ଯଥା ଶ୍ରୀ ଧ୍ରୁବ ସାହୁ, ଶ୍ରୀ ରଞ୍ଜନ ପ୍ରଧାନ, ଶ୍ରୀ ପ୍ରଶାନ୍ତ ପ୍ରଧାନ, ଶ୍ରୀ ଶଙ୍କର ସାହୁ, ଏବଂ ଶ୍ରୀ ପବିତ୍ର ମୋହନ ପ୍ରଧାନ, ଗଜମିତ୍ର ସଦସ୍ୟ ଶ୍ରୀ ଧଳେଶ୍ୱର ସାହୁ ଏବଂ ଶ୍ରୀ ରୁଦ୍ରମୋହନ ପ୍ରଧାନ ମଧ୍ୟ ଅଂଶଗ୍ରହଣ କରିଥିଲେ, ଯାହାଙ୍କ ଉପସ୍ଥିତି ଏବଂ ମାର୍ଗଦର୍ଶନ ରାଲିର ସଫଳ ପରିଚାଳନାରେ ବହୁଳ ଅବଦାନ ରଖିଥିଲା।
Awareness Programme & Rally on Elephant Protection :
On 18 December 2025, the Eco-Club of Kumunda High School, Kumunda organized an Awareness Programme and Rally on Elephant Protection at Kamarei village area under Kaniha Beat, Kaniha-I Section of Kaniha Range with the objective of educating students and local villagers about the importance of elephant conservation, reducing human–elephant conflict, and protecting forest habitats. Students actively participated by displaying placards and raising slogans to spread awareness on wildlife protection, while forest officials from Kaniha Range guided the participants and shared practical tips on safety measures and peaceful coexistence with elephants. The programme successfully strengthened community awareness and highlighted the collective responsibility of safeguarding elephants and preserving biodiversity for a sustainable future, and was jointly coordinated by Kumunda High School and the Forest Department.The rally was conducted with the active involvement of Head Master Shri Prashanta Kumar Behera along with all the teachers of the school, and was supported by forest personnel including Shri Deepak Kumar Sethi, Forester; Smt. Manosmita Sahu, Forest Guard; Smt. Kabita Pradhan, Forest Guard; and Shri Deepak Kumar Sahu, Forest Guard. Members of the Elephant Squad, namely Sri Dhrub Sahu, Sri Ranjan Pradhan, Sri Prashanta Pradhan, Sri Shankar Sahu, and Shri Pabitra Mohan Pradhan, also participated, along with Gajamitra members Shri Dhaleswar Sahu and Shri Rudramohan Pradhan, whose presence and guidance greatly contributed to the successful conduct of the rally.
