recovered a hand-made gun loaded with a cartridge by forest department of ANGUL District
On November 03, 2025, at approximately 09:45 PM, during night patrolling by the Range Officer and Kanja Section staff of Bantala Range, the team was on duty along the border line between Kanja Section and Nuakheta Section when they noticed a suspicious individual at Mahidharpada Chowk. Upon seeing the team, the individual immediately fled from the location.Acting on suspicion, the patrolling staff conducted a thorough search of the surrounding area. During the search, they recovered a hand-made gun loaded with a cartridge. The weapon was seized and subsequently brought to the Range Office, Bantala, for further investigation.The night patrol was conducted by Sri Prasanna Kumar Sahoo, Range Officer, Sri Rashmiranjan Sethi, Forester, Sri Santosh Jena, Gaja Mitra and Sri Dillip Gochayat, Gaja Mitra.We are proud of our GREEN WARRIORS for their hard work and dedication.
