ଅନୁଗୋଳ -ଜାନୁଆରୀ ୧୬ ଏବଂ ଜାନୁଆରୀ ୧୭ ୨୦୨୬ ରେ, ଅନୁଗୁଳ ବନ ବିଭାଗର ସଂରକ୍ଷିତ ଜଙ୍ଗଲ ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ କମ୍ବିଂ ଅପରେସନ୍ ସଫଳତାର ସହ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା। ଏହି ଅପରେସନ୍ ବନ୍ୟପ୍ରାଣୀ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକଳାପ – ବିଶେଷକରି ହାତୀ ଗତିବିଧି – ଉପରେ ନଜର ରଖିବା ଏବଂ ଶିକାର ଏବଂ ଜବରଦଖଲ ଭଳି ବେଆଇନ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକଳାପକୁ ରୋକିବା ଉପରେ ଧ୍ୟାନ ଦେଇଥିଲା।
ଦଳଟି ପରିବେଶଗତ ବିଭ୍ରାଟକୁ ହ୍ରାସ କରିବା ସହିତ ମିଳିତ ସର୍ଭେରୁ ତଥ୍ୟ ଯାଞ୍ଚ ଏବଂ ଏକତ୍ରିତ କରିଥିଲା। ମାଟି ବିଭ୍ରାଟ, ଉଦ୍ଭିଦ କ୍ଷତି ଏବଂ ବନ୍ୟପ୍ରାଣୀ ଗତିବିଧିରେ ବାଧା ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରିବାର ଲକ୍ଷଣ ଦଲିଲ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା। ଏହି ଅପରେସନ୍ଗୁଡ଼ିକ ବନ୍ୟପ୍ରାଣୀଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ସମ୍ଭାବ୍ୟ ରୋଗ ପ୍ରକୋପ ଚିହ୍ନଟ ଏବଂ ପରିଚାଳନା କରିବା ସହିତ ଜଙ୍ଗଲ ପରିସ୍ଥିତି, ବନ୍ୟପ୍ରାଣୀ ଜନସଂଖ୍ୟା ଏବଂ ପରିବେଶଗତ ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ ବିଷୟରେ ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ସୂଚନା ସଂଗ୍ରହ କରିବା ଉପରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଧ୍ୟାନ ଦେଇଥିଲା।
ଏହି ସଘନ ଭୂମି ସନ୍ଧାନଗୁଡ଼ିକ ମୁଖ୍ୟତଃ ଶିକାର ବିରୋଧୀ ପ୍ରତିବନ୍ଧକ ପାଇଁ ଡିଜାଇନ୍ କରାଯାଇଛି, ଯେଉଁଠାରେ କର୍ମଚାରୀମାନେ ଅନଧିକୃତ ମାନବ ଉପସ୍ଥିତିର ପ୍ରମାଣ ଦଲିଲ କରିବା ସହିତ ବେଆଇନ ଫାଶ, ଫାଶ ଏବଂ ବିଷାକ୍ତ ବଳାଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ଚିହ୍ନଟ ଏବଂ ଭାଙ୍ଗି ଦିଅନ୍ତି।MSTrIPES ମୋବାଇଲ୍ ଆପ୍ଲିକେସନ୍ / OFMS ଆପ୍ଲିକେସନ୍ ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ଲଗ୍ ହୋଇଥିବା ରିଅଲ୍-ଟାଇମ୍ GPS ଡାଟା ବ୍ୟବହାର କରି ଦଳଗୁଡ଼ିକ ଏହି ଅପରେସନଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ବ୍ୟବହାର କରନ୍ତି। ଏହି ପ୍ରୟାସଗୁଡ଼ିକ ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ, କମ୍ବିଂ ଅପରେସନଗୁଡ଼ିକ ପ୍ରାକୃତିକ ସମ୍ପଦ ସଂରକ୍ଷଣ, ବାସସ୍ଥାନ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ଏବଂ ଅନୁଗୁଳ ବନ ବିଭାଗର ଜୈବ ବିବିଧତାକୁ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ଦେବାରେ ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଭୂମିକା ଗ୍ରହଣ କରେ, ଯାହା ଦ୍ଵାରା ଏକ ସନ୍ତୁଳିତ ଏବଂ ସୁସ୍ଥ ଜଙ୍ଗଲ ପରିବେଶ ସୁନିଶ୍ଚିତ ହୁଏ।
On January 16th and January 17th 2026, combing operations were successfully carried out in the Reserve Forest areas of the Angul Forest Division. The operation focused on monitoring wildlife activity—especially elephant movement—and preventing illegal activities such as hunting and encroachment. The team also verified and consolidated data from the combined survey while minimizing ecological disturbance. Signs of soil disturbance, vegetation damage, and disruptions to wildlife movement were documented. The operations also focused on identifying and managing potential disease outbreaks among wildlife, as well as collecting vital information on forest conditions, wildlife populations, and environmental changes.These intensive ground searches are primarily designed for anti-poaching interdiction, where personnel locate and dismantle illegal snares, traps, and poison baits while documenting evidence of unauthorized human presence. Teams utilize these operations using real-time GPS data logged via the MSTrIPES mobile application/OFMS application.Through these efforts, the combing operations play a significant role in preserving natural resources, protecting habitats, and safeguarding the biodiversity of the Angul Forest Division, thereby ensuring a balanced and healthy forest environment.We are proud of our GREEN WARRIORS for their hard work and dedication.
