ଏନଟିପିସି ତାଳଚେର ଥର୍ମାଲ୍ ଡକ୍ଟର ବି. ଆର. ଆମ୍ବେଦକରଙ୍କ ୧୩୬ତମ ଜନ୍ମବାର୍ଷିକୀ ଏକ ସୁଚିନ୍ତିତ ଭାବରେ ସଂଯୋଜିତ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମ ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ପାଳନ କରିଛି, ଯାହାର ଉଦ୍ଘାଟନ ତାଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତିମୂର୍ତ୍ତି ଉନ୍ମୋଚନ ଏବଂ ଏକ ସାଂସ୍କୃତିକ ସନ୍ଧ୍ୟା ଦ୍ୱାରା କରାଯାଇଥିଲା।
ସକାଳେ ଷ୍ଟେସନ ପରିସରରେ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟନିର୍ବାହୀ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶକ ଶ୍ରୀ ବିଜୟ ଚାନ୍ଦଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଡକ୍ଟର ଆମ୍ବେଦକରଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତିମୂର୍ତ୍ତିର ଉଦଘାଟନ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା, ଯେଉଁଥିରେ ଶ୍ରୀମତୀ ବିଭା ଅଗ୍ରୱାଲ, ସାଗରିକା ଲେଡିଜ୍ କ୍ଲବର ସଭାପତି ଏବଂ ଶ୍ରୀ ପ୍ରବୀର କୁମାର, ମହାପ୍ରବନ୍ଧକ (ପ୍ରକଳ୍ପ), ବରିଷ୍ଠ ଅଧିକାରୀ, ୟୁନିଅନ ଏବଂ ସଂଘର ପ୍ରତିନିଧି ଏବଂ କର୍ମଚାରୀମାନେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ଥିଲେ।
ତାଙ୍କ ଭାଷଣରେ, ଶ୍ରୀ ବିଜୟ ଚାନ୍ଦ କହିଥିଲେ, ଶିକ୍ଷାର ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନକାରୀ ଶକ୍ତି, ସ୍ଥିରତା ଏବଂ ଚିନ୍ତାଧାରାର ସ୍ପଷ୍ଟତାର ପ୍ରମାଣ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ଡକ୍ଟର ଆମ୍ବେଦକରଙ୍କ ଯାତ୍ରା ଉପରେ ପ୍ରତିଫଳିତ କରିଥିଲେ। ପ୍ରତିମୂର୍ତ୍ତିର ଉନ୍ମୋଚନ ବୃତ୍ତିଗତ ଏବଂ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିଗତ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରେ ଏହି ମୂଲ୍ୟବୋଧଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ଆନ୍ତରିକ ଏବଂ ଆଗକୁ ବହନ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଏକ ନିରନ୍ତର ସ୍ମରଣକାରୀ ଭାବରେ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରେ ବୋଲି ଶ୍ରୀ ଚାନ୍ଦ କହିଥିଲେ।
ସନ୍ଧ୍ୟାରେ ଏକ ସ୍ପନ୍ଦନଶୀଳ ସାଂସ୍କୃତିକ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମ ଦେଖିବାକୁ ମିଳିଥିଲା, ଯାହା ଦିନର ଉତ୍ସବକୁ ଆହୁରି ସମୃଦ୍ଧ କରିଥିଲା। ଏହି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମରେ ମୁଖ୍ୟ ବକ୍ତା ଭାବରେ ମ୍ୟୁନିସିପାଲ କର୍ପୋରେସନ ଅଧୀନରେ ସହରାଞ୍ଚଳ ମୌଳିକ ସେବାରେ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟରତ ଏବଂ ଓଡ଼ିଶା ସିଭିଲ୍ ସର୍ଭିସେସ୍ (୨୦୦୦ ବ୍ୟାଚ୍)ର ଜଣେ ବିଶିଷ୍ଟ ଅଧିକାରୀ ଡକ୍ଟର ହରପ୍ରିୟା ପାଣିଗ୍ରାହୀ ଯୋଗଦେଇଥିଲେ, ଯିଏ ସାର୍ବଜନୀନ ସେବାରେ ତାଙ୍କର ଦୃଷ୍ଟିକୋଣ ଏବଂ ଅଭିଜ୍ଞତା ବାଣ୍ଟିଥିଲେ।
ଅନୁଗୁଳର ଆଦୃତା ଚିଲ୍ଡ୍ରେନ୍ ହୋମର ବାସିନ୍ଦାଙ୍କ ନୃତ୍ୟ ଦଳ ଦ୍ୱାରା ସାଂସ୍କୃତିକ ପ୍ରଦର୍ଶନ ଏହି ଅବସରରେ ରଙ୍ଗ ଏବଂ ଶକ୍ତି ବୃଦ୍ଧି କରିଥିଲା। କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମରେ ପିଲାମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଆୟୋଜିତ କୁଇଜ୍ ଏବଂ ଚିତ୍ରକଳା ପ୍ରତିଯୋଗିତାର ପୁରସ୍କାର ବଣ୍ଟନ ଉତ୍ସବ ମଧ୍ୟ ଅନ୍ତର୍ଭୁକ୍ତ ଥିଲା, ଯାହା ଯୁବ ଅଂଶଗ୍ରହଣକାରୀଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ସୃଜନଶୀଳତା ଏବଂ ସଚେତନତାକୁ ଉତ୍ସାହିତ କରିଥିଲା।
କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ଷେତ୍ର ଏବଂ ସମାଜ ଉଭୟରେ ସମାନତା, ଅନ୍ତର୍ଭୁକ୍ତି ଏବଂ ପ୍ରଗତି ମୂଲ୍ୟବୋଧକୁ ଆଗକୁ ବହନ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଏକ ନୂତନ ପ୍ରତିବଦ୍ଧତା ସହିତ ଦିନଟି ଶେଷ ହୋଇଥିଲା।
NTPC Talcher Thermal Commemorates Ambedkar Jayanti with Statue Unveiling and Cultural Programme

NTPC Talcher Thermal observed the 136th birth anniversary of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar through a thoughtfully curated programme, marked by the unveiling of his statue and a cultural evening.
The statue of Dr. Ambedkar was inaugurated at the station premises in the morning by Shri Vijay Chand, Executive Director, in the presence of Smt. Vibha Agrawal, President, Sagarika Ladies Club, and Shri Praveer Kumar, General Manager (Project), along with senior officials, representatives of unions and associations, and employees.
In his address, Shri Vijay Chand reflected on Dr. Ambedkar’s journey as a testament to the transformative power of education, resilience, and clarity of thought. The unveiling of the statue, he remarked, serves as a constant reminder to internalise and carry forward these values in both professional and personal spheres.
The evening witnessed a vibrant cultural programme, further enriching the day’s celebrations. The programme featured Dr. Harapriya Panigrahi, serving in Urban Basic Services under the Municipal Corporation and a distinguished Odisha Civil Services (2000 batch) officer, as the Chief Speaker, who shared her perspectives and experiences in public service.
Cultural performances by the dance troupe of residents from Adruta Children Home, Angul, added colour and energy to the occasion. The programme also included the prize distribution ceremony for quiz and painting competitions organised for children, encouraging creativity and awareness among young participants.
The day concluded with a shared sense of inspiration and a renewed commitment to carrying forward the values of equality, inclusion, and progress in both workplace and society
