ନୂଆଦିଲ୍ଲୀ | 30 ଜୁନ୍ 2026 : ସ୍ୱରାଷ୍ଟ୍ର ରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଶ୍ରୀ ନିତ୍ୟାନନ୍ଦ ରାୟ ଆଜି ନୂଆଦିଲ୍ଲୀରେ ଅନୁଷ୍ଠିତ ମାଉଣ୍ଟ ଏଭରେଷ୍ଟ ଅଭିଯାନ-2026 ଏବଂ BSF ମାଉଣ୍ଟ ଲହୋତସେ ଅଭିଯାନ-2026 ପାଇଁ ଫ୍ଲାଗ୍-ଇନ୍ ସମାରୋହରେ ଇଣ୍ଡୋ-ତିବ୍ଦତୀୟ ସୀମା ପୋଲିସ (ITBP), ସୀମା ସୁରକ୍ଷା ବଳ (BSF) ଏବଂ ଜାତୀୟ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ଗାର୍ଡ (NSG)ର ସଫଳ ଅଭିଯାନ ଦଳକୁ ସମ୍ମାନିତ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ଏହି ଅବସରରେ, ସେ ITBPର ନବନିର୍ମିତ କୋଠା ଉଦଘାଟନ ଏବଂ ନୂତନ NSG ଭିତ୍ତିଭୂମିର ଭିତ୍ତିପ୍ରସ୍ତର ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିଥିଲେ।
ଏହି ଉତ୍ସବରେ ଗୃହ ସଚିବ ଶ୍ରୀ ଗୋବିନ୍ଦ ମୋହନ, ଗୁପ୍ତଚର ବ୍ୟୁରୋ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶକ ଶ୍ରୀ ମହେଶ ଦୀକ୍ଷିତ, ITBP ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶକ ମହାନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶକ ଶ୍ରୀ ଶତ୍ରୁଜିତ କପୁର, NSG ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶକ ମହାନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶକ ଶ୍ରୀ ବି. ଶ୍ରୀନିବାସନ, BSF ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶକ ମହାନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶକ ଶ୍ରୀ ପ୍ରବୀଣ କୁମାର, ତିନୋଟି CAPFର ବରିଷ୍ଠ ଅଧିକାରୀ, ଅଭିଯାନ ଦଳର ସଦସ୍ୟ ଏବଂ ଅନ୍ୟାନ୍ୟ ସମ୍ମାନିତ ଅତିଥିମାନେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ଥିଲେ।
କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମଟି ITBP, BSF ଏବଂ NSG ଦ୍ୱାରା ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପର୍ବତାରୋହଣ ଅଭିଯାନ ବିଷୟରେ ଉପସ୍ଥାପନା ସହିତ ଆରମ୍ଭ ହୋଇଥିଲା। ପରବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ସମୟରେ, ତିନୋଟି ଅଭିଯାନ ଦଳର ନେତାମାନେ ମାନ୍ୟବର ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀଙ୍କୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଅଭିଯାନ ପତାକା ପ୍ରଦାନ କରିଥିଲେ। ଏହି ସମାରୋହରେ ITBP ଏବଂ NSG ଭିତ୍ତିଭୂମି ପ୍ରକଳ୍ପର ଉଦଘାଟନ ଏବଂ ଶିଳାନ୍ୟାସ ମଧ୍ୟ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା, ଏଥିସହିତ ଅଭିଯାତ୍ରୀ ଦଳଗୁଡ଼ିକ ଦ୍ୱାରା ମାନ୍ୟବର ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀଙ୍କୁ ସ୍ମାରକୀ ସ୍ମାରକୀ ପ୍ରଦାନ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା।
ସମସ୍ତ ପର୍ବତାରୋହୀ, ଅଭିଯାନ ସଦସ୍ୟ ଏବଂ ଏହି ଉଲ୍ଲେଖନୀୟ ସଫଳତା ସହିତ ଜଡିତ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଅଧିକାରୀ ଏବଂ କର୍ମଚାରୀଙ୍କୁ ଅଭିନନ୍ଦନ ଜଣାଇ ଶ୍ରୀ ନିତ୍ୟାନନ୍ଦ ରାୟ କହିଛନ୍ତି ଯେ ବିଶ୍ୱର ସର୍ବୋଚ୍ଚ ଶିଖରରେ ଜାତୀୟ ପତାକା ଉତ୍ତୋଳନ କରିବା କେବଳ ଏକ ଅସାଧାରଣ ପର୍ବତାରୋହଣ ସଫଳତା ନୁହେଁ ବରଂ ଭାରତର କେନ୍ଦ୍ରୀୟ ସଶସ୍ତ୍ର ପୋଲିସ ବାହିନୀର ଶୃଙ୍ଖଳା, ବୃତ୍ତିଗତତା, ଅସାଧାରଣ ତାଲିମ ଏବଂ ଅଟଳ ପ୍ରତିବଦ୍ଧତାର ଏକ ଶକ୍ତିଶାଳୀ ପ୍ରତିଫଳନ। ସେ ପର୍ବତାରୋହଣକୁ ନେତୃତ୍ୱ, ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି ଗ୍ରହଣ, ବିପଦ ପରିଚାଳନା ଏବଂ ଦଳଗତ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟର ଚୂଡ଼ାନ୍ତ ପରୀକ୍ଷା ଭାବରେ ବର୍ଣ୍ଣନା କରିଥିଲେ, ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଅଭିଯାନର ପ୍ରକୃତ ସଫଳତା ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଦଳର ସଦସ୍ୟଙ୍କ ସୁରକ୍ଷିତ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟାବର୍ତ୍ତନରେ ନିହିତ ଅଛି ବୋଲି ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱାରୋପ କରିଥିଲେ।
ମାନ୍ୟବର ରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ମତ ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି ଯେ ଭାରତର ସୀମା ସୁରକ୍ଷା, ଆତଙ୍କବାଦ ଏବଂ ବାମପନ୍ଥୀ ଉଗ୍ରବାଦ ମୁକାବିଲା ଏବଂ ବିପର୍ଯ୍ୟୟ ସହାୟତା କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଆବଶ୍ୟକ ସମାନ ଗୁଣ ପର୍ବତାରୋହଣ ଅଭିଯାନରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ପ୍ରତିଫଳିତ ହୁଏ। ତେଣୁ, ଏହି ସଫଳତା କେବଳ କ୍ରୀଡା ଉତ୍କର୍ଷତା ନୁହେଁ ବରଂ କେନ୍ଦ୍ରୀୟ ସଶସ୍ତ୍ର ପୋଲିସ ବାହିନୀର ସାଂସ୍ଥାଗତିକ କ୍ଷମତା, କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ଷମ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତି ଏବଂ ବୃତ୍ତିଗତ ଦକ୍ଷତାକୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ପ୍ରତିନିଧିତ୍ୱ କରେ।
ଶ୍ରୀ ରାୟ ଏହି ବର୍ଷର ଅଭିଯାନଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ଅନେକ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରୁ ଐତିହାସିକ ବୋଲି ବର୍ଣ୍ଣନା କରିଛନ୍ତି। ସେ ବିଶେଷ ଭାବରେ ITBPର ପ୍ରଥମ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ମହିଳା ମାଉଣ୍ଟ ଏଭରେଷ୍ଟ ଅଭିଯାନ, BSFର ପ୍ରଥମ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ମହିଳା ମାଉଣ୍ଟ ଏଭରେଷ୍ଟ ଏବଂ ମାଉଣ୍ଟ ଲ୍ହୋଟସେ ଅଭିଯାନ ଏବଂ NSGର ପ୍ରଥମ ସଫଳ ମାଉଣ୍ଟ ଏଭରେଷ୍ଟ ଅଭିଯାନକୁ ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରି କହିଛନ୍ତି ଯେ ଏହି ସଫଳତାଗୁଡ଼ିକ ବିଶ୍ୱ ସ୍ତରରେ ଭାରତର ସମ୍ମାନକୁ ବୃଦ୍ଧି କରିଛି।
ITBPର ସମୃଦ୍ଧ ପର୍ବତାରୋହଣ ଐତିହ୍ୟକୁ ମନେ ପକାଇ ସେ କହିଛନ୍ତି ଯେ ଏହି ବାହିନୀ 1970 ମସିହାରେ ମାଉଣ୍ଟ ତ୍ରିଶୂଳ ଅଭିଯାନ ସହିତ ଏହାର ପର୍ବତାରୋହଣ ଯାତ୍ରା ଆରମ୍ଭ କରିଥିଲା ଏବଂ ସେବେଠାରୁ ବିଶ୍ୱର ଅନେକ ଚ୍ୟାଲେଞ୍ଜିଂ ଶିଖରକୁ ବିଜୟୀ କରିବା ସହିତ ପାଞ୍ଚଟି ସଫଳ ମାଉଣ୍ଟ ଏଭରେଷ୍ଟ ଅଭିଯାନ ସମେତ 232ଟି ସଫଳ ପର୍ବତାରୋହଣ ଅଭିଯାନ କରିଛି। ବିଏସଏଫ ଏବଂ ଏନଏସଜିର ସଫଳତାକୁ ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରି ସେ କହିଛନ୍ତି ଯେ ତିନୋଟି ବାହିନୀ ଅତ୍ୟନ୍ତ କଷ୍ଟକର ପରିସ୍ଥିତିରେ ଅନୁକରଣୀୟ ସାହସ, ବୃତ୍ତିଗତତା ଏବଂ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ଷମ ଉତ୍କର୍ଷତା ପ୍ରଦର୍ଶନ କରିଛନ୍ତି।
ମହିଳା ପର୍ବତାରୋହୀଙ୍କ ସଫଳତା ଉପରେ ଆଲୋକପାତ କରି ଶ୍ରୀ ନିତ୍ୟାନନ୍ଦ ରାୟ କହିଛନ୍ତି ଯେ ସେମାନେ ପୁଣି ଥରେ ପ୍ରଦର୍ଶନ କରିଛନ୍ତି ଯେ ସମାନ ସୁଯୋଗ ଏବଂ ତାଲିମ ପ୍ରଦାନ କଲେ, ଭାରତୀୟ ମହିଳାମାନେ ଜାତୀୟ ସେବାର ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଚ୍ୟାଲେଞ୍ଜିଂ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରେ ଉତ୍କର୍ଷ ହାସଲ କରିପାରିବେ। ସେ ଏଭରେଷ୍ଟ ଶିଖରରେ ଅଭିଯାନ ସଦସ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ‘ବନ୍ଦେ ମାତରମ୍’ର ସାମୂହିକ ପରିବେଷଣକୁ ଭାରତର ସଂସ୍କୃତି, ଦେଶପ୍ରେମ ଏବଂ ଜାତୀୟ ଗର୍ବର ଏକ ଗଭୀର ପ୍ରେରଣାଦାୟକ ଅଭିବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ଭାବରେ ବର୍ଣ୍ଣନା କରିଥିଲେ।
ରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ପ୍ରଶିକ୍ଷକ, ଡାକ୍ତରୀ ଦଳ, ପାଣିପାଗ ବିଶେଷଜ୍ଞ, ଯୋଗାଯୋଗ ବିଶେଷଜ୍ଞ, ଲଜିଷ୍ଟିକ୍ସ କର୍ମଚାରୀ ଏବଂ ସମସ୍ତ ସହାୟକ କର୍ମଚାରୀଙ୍କ ଅମୂଲ୍ୟ ଅବଦାନକୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରିଥିଲେ, ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ମହାନ ସଫଳତା ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗୀକୃତ ଦଳଗତ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟର ଫଳାଫଳ ବୋଲି ମତ ଦେଇଥିଲେ।
ସେ ଆହୁରି କହିଛନ୍ତି ଯେ ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଶ୍ରୀ ନରେନ୍ଦ୍ର ମୋଦୀଙ୍କ ନେତୃତ୍ୱରେ, ଭାରତ ସରକାର କେନ୍ଦ୍ରୀୟ ସଶସ୍ତ୍ର ପୋଲିସ ବାହିନୀର ଆଧୁନିକୀକରଣ, କ୍ଷମତା ବୃଦ୍ଧି ଏବଂ କଲ୍ୟାଣ ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରତିବଦ୍ଧ, ଯାହା ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉଦୀୟମାନ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ଚ୍ୟାଲେଞ୍ଜକୁ ପ୍ରଭାବଶାଳୀ ଭାବରେ ମୁକାବିଲା କରିବାକୁ ସକ୍ଷମ କରିଥାଏ।
ଶ୍ରୀ ରାୟ ପରିବେଶ ସଂରକ୍ଷଣ ଏବଂ ସ୍ୱଚ୍ଛ ହିମାଳୟର ବାର୍ତ୍ତାକୁ ପ୍ରୋତ୍ସାହିତ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଅଭିଯାନ ଦଳଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରିଥିଲେ, ଜଳବାୟୁ ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ ଯୁଗରେ ହିମାଳୟର ଦୁର୍ବଳ ପରିବେଶକୁ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ଦେବା ଏକ ସାମୂହିକ ଦାୟିତ୍ୱ ବୋଲି ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱାରୋପ କରିଥିଲେ।
ତାଙ୍କ ଅଭିଭାଷଣ ଶେଷ କରି, ମାନ୍ୟବର ରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଦେଶର ଯୁବପିଢ଼ିଙ୍କୁ ଏହି ଅଭିଯାନଗୁଡ଼ିକର କ୍ରୀଡା ଦିଗରୁ ଆଗକୁ ଦେଖିବାକୁ ଏବଂ ଶୃଙ୍ଖଳା, ସୂକ୍ଷ୍ମ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତି, ଦଳଗତ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ, ଦାୟିତ୍ୱ ଏବଂ ଦେଶ ପ୍ରତି ନିଃସ୍ୱାର୍ଥପର ସେବାର ମୂଲ୍ୟବୋଧରୁ ପ୍ରେରଣା ନେବାକୁ ଆହ୍ୱାନ କରିଥିଲେ। ସେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିଥିଲେ ଯେ ITBP, BSF ଏବଂ NSG ସମାନ ସମର୍ପଣ ଏବଂ ଉତ୍କର୍ଷତା ସହିତ ରାଷ୍ଟ୍ର ସେବାରେ ନୂତନ ମାନଦଣ୍ଡ ସ୍ଥାପନ କରି ଚାଲିବେ।
Minister of State for Home Affairs Shri Nityanand Rai Felicitates Successful ITBP, BSF and NSG Mount Everest & Mount Lhotse Expedition Teams
New Delhi | 30 June 2026 : Minister of State for Home Affairs Shri Nityanand Rai today felicitated the successful expedition teams of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Border Security Force (BSF) and National Security Guard (NSG) during the Flag-In Ceremony for the Mount Everest Expedition–2026, and the BSF Mount Lhotse Expedition–2026 held in New Delhi. On the occasion, he also inaugurated newly constructed buildings of ITBP and laid the foundation stone for new NSG infrastructure.
The ceremony was attended by Home Secretary Shri Govind Mohan, Director Intelligence Bureau Shri Mahesh Dixit, Director General ITBP Shri Shatrujeet Kapur, Director General NSG Shri B. Srinivasan, Director General BSF Shri Praveen Kumar, senior officers of the three CAPFs, members of the expedition teams and other distinguished guests.
The programme commenced with presentations by ITBP, BSF and NSG on their respective mountaineering expeditions. Subsequently, the leaders of the three expedition teams presented their expedition flags to the Hon’ble MoS. The ceremony also featured the inauguration and foundation stone laying of ITBP and NSG infrastructure projects, besides presentation of commemorative mementoes to the Hon’ble Minister by the expedition teams.
Congratulating all mountaineers, expedition members and every officer and personnel associated with these remarkable achievements, Shri Nityanand Rai said that unfurling the National Flag atop the world’s highest peaks is not merely an extraordinary mountaineering feat but a powerful reflection of the discipline, professionalism, exceptional training and unwavering commitment of India’s Central Armed Police Forces. He described mountaineering as the ultimate test of leadership, decision-making, risk management and teamwork, emphasizing that the true success of any expedition lies in the safe return of every team member.
The Hon’ble MoS observed that the same qualities required for safeguarding India’s borders, combating terrorism and Left Wing Extremism, and undertaking disaster relief operations are equally reflected in mountaineering expeditions. These accomplishments, he said, therefore represent not only sporting excellence but also the institutional capability, operational preparedness and professional competence of the Central Armed Police Forces.
Shri Rai described this year’s expeditions as historic in many respects. He particularly lauded ITBP’s first all-women Mount Everest Expedition, BSF’s first all-women Mount Everest and Mount Lhotse Expeditions, and NSG’s first successful Mount Everest Expedition, stating that these achievements have elevated India’s prestige on the global stage.
Recalling ITBP’s rich mountaineering legacy, he said the Force began its mountaineering journey with the Mount Trishul Expedition in 1970 and has since conducted 232 successful mountaineering expeditions, including five successful Mount Everest expeditions, besides conquering several other challenging peaks across the world. Appreciating the achievements of BSF and NSG, he said that all three forces have demonstrated exemplary courage, professionalism and operational excellence under the most demanding conditions.
Highlighting the achievements of the women mountaineers, Shri Nityanand Rai said they have once again demonstrated that given equal opportunities and training, Indian women are capable of excelling in every challenging sphere of national service. He also described the collective rendition of ‘Vande Mataram’ by the expedition members atop Mount Everest as a deeply inspiring expression of India’s culture, patriotism and national pride.
The MoS also appreciated the invaluable contribution of instructors, medical teams, weather experts, communication specialists, logistics personnel and all supporting staff, observing that every great achievement is the result of dedicated teamwork.
He further stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the Government of India remains committed to the modernization, capacity enhancement and welfare of the Central Armed Police Forces, enabling them to effectively meet emerging security challenges.
Shri Rai also commended the expedition teams for promoting the message of environmental conservation and a clean Himalayas, emphasizing that protecting the fragile Himalayan ecosystem is a collective responsibility in the era of climate change.
Concluding his address, the Hon’ble MoS urged the youth of the country to look beyond the sporting dimension of these expeditions and draw inspiration from the values of discipline, meticulous preparation, teamwork, responsibility and selfless service to the nation. He expressed confidence that ITBP, BSF and NSG would continue to set new benchmarks in service of the nation with the same dedication and excellence.
