ଏନ୍ଟିପିସି ତାଳଚେର ଥର୍ମାଲର ଷ୍ଟେଜ୍-୩ ସମ୍ପ୍ରସାରଣ ପ୍ରକଳ୍ପର ଅଗ୍ରଗତି ସମୀକ୍ଷା କଲେ ସିଇଏ ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷ
ତାଳଚେର, ୫ ଅଗଷ୍ଟ: କେନ୍ଦ୍ରୀୟ ବିଦ୍ୟୁତ କର୍ତ୍ତୃପକ୍ଷ (CEA)ର ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷ ଘନଶ୍ୟାମ ପ୍ରସାଦ ମଙ୍ଗଳବାର ଏନ୍ଟିପିସି ତାଳଚେର ଥର୍ମାଲ ପାୱାର ଷ୍ଟେସନ୍ ପରିଦର୍ଶନ କରି ଷ୍ଟେଜ୍-୩ ସମ୍ପ୍ରସାରଣ ପ୍ରକଳ୍ପ (୨×୬୬୦ ମେଗାୱାଟ୍)ର ଅଗ୍ରଗତିର ସମୀକ୍ଷା କରିଛନ୍ତି। ଦେଶର ବିଦ୍ୟୁତ ଉତ୍ପାଦନ କ୍ଷମତା ବୃଦ୍ଧି ଲକ୍ଷ୍ୟରେ ଏହି ପ୍ରକଳ୍ପକୁ ଏକ ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ପଦକ୍ଷେପ ଭାବେ ଦେଖାଯାଉଛି।
ପରିଦର୍ଶନ ସମୟରେ ଶ୍ରୀ ପ୍ରସାଦ ୪୦୦ କେଭି ଜିଆଇଏସ୍ (GIS) କଣ୍ଟ୍ରୋଲ ରୁମ୍ର ଉଦ୍ଘାଟନ କରିଥିଲେ। ଏହି ଅବସରରେ ଏନ୍ଟିପିସିର ରିଜିଓନାଲ ଏକ୍ସିକ୍ୟୁଟିଭ୍ ଡାଇରେକ୍ଟର (ଇଆର-୨) ସୋମେଶ ବନ୍ଦ୍ୟୋପାଧ୍ୟାୟ, ତାଳଚେର ଥର୍ମାଲର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟନିର୍ବାହୀ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶକ ବିଜୟ ଚାନ୍ଦ, ପ୍ରକଳ୍ପ ମହାପ୍ରବନ୍ଧକ ପ୍ରବୀର କୁମାର, ତାଳଚେର ଉପଜିଲ୍ଲାପାଳ ଆଶିଷ କୁମାର ସାହୁ, ଏଜିଏମ୍ (ଏଚ୍ଆର୍) ରୋହିତ କୁମାର, ଏଜିଏମ୍ (ଇଏମ୍ଜି) ଅଞ୍ଜନ ସାହୁ ଏବଂ ବିଏଚ୍ଇଏଲ୍ର ବରିଷ୍ଠ ଅଧିକାରୀମାନେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ଥିଲେ।
ଏହାପରେ ସେ ସୁଇଚ୍ୟାର୍ଡ, ଏନ୍ଡିସିଟି (NDCT), ବଏଲର୍, ଚିମ୍ନି ସମେତ ବିଭିନ୍ନ ନିର୍ମାଣାଧୀନ ସ୍ଥାନ ପରିଦର୍ଶନ କରି ପ୍ରକଳ୍ପର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଅଗ୍ରଗତି ସମ୍ପର୍କରେ ଅବଗତ ହୋଇଥିଲେ।
ପରିଦର୍ଶନ ଶେଷରେ ଶ୍ରୀ ପ୍ରସାଦ ଏନ୍ଟିପିସିର ବରିଷ୍ଠ ଅଧିକାରୀମାନଙ୍କ ସହ ଏକ ସମୀକ୍ଷା ବୈଠକରେ ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷତା କରିଥିଲେ। ବୈଠକରେ ଷ୍ଟେଜ୍-୩ ପ୍ରକଳ୍ପର ଦୁଇଟି ୟୁନିଟ୍ର ନିର୍ଦ୍ଧାରିତ ସମୟ ମଧ୍ୟରେ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ସମାପ୍ତ ଓ କମିଶନିଂ ଉପରେ ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱ ଦିଆଯାଇଥିଲା, ଯାହା ଓଡ଼ିଶା ସମେତ ଦେଶର ବର୍ଦ୍ଧିତ ବିଦ୍ୟୁତ ଚାହିଦା ପୂରଣରେ ସହାୟକ ହେବ।
ସିଇଏ ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷ ପ୍ରକଳ୍ପର ଉଲ୍ଲେଖନୀୟ ଅଗ୍ରଗତିକୁ ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରିବା ସହ ନିର୍ମାଣ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ସମୟରେ ଉଚ୍ଚମାନର ସୁରକ୍ଷା ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ବଜାୟ ରଖିଥିବାରୁ ପ୍ରକଳ୍ପ ଟିମ୍କୁ ସାଧୁବାଦ ଜଣାଇଥିଲେ। ସେ କହିଥିଲେ, ଏନ୍ଟିପିସି ତାଳଚେର ଥର୍ମାଲକୁ ଏକ ଆଧୁନିକ, ଦକ୍ଷ ଏବଂ ପରିବେଶ ଅନୁକୂଳ ବିଦ୍ୟୁତ ଉତ୍ପାଦନ କେନ୍ଦ୍ରରେ ପରିଣତ କରିବାରେ କର୍ମଚାରୀ ଓ ପ୍ରକଳ୍ପ ଦଳର ନିଷ୍ଠା ପ୍ରଶଂସନୀୟ। ଏହି ପ୍ରକଳ୍ପ ଦେଶର ଶକ୍ତି ସୁରକ୍ଷା ସୁଦୃଢ଼ କରିବା ସହ ଆର୍ଥିକ ବିକାଶରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଅବଦାନ ରଖିବ ବୋଲି ସେ ଆଶା ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିଥିଲେ।
ଏହି ପରିଦର୍ଶନ ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ଏନ୍ଟିପିସି ତାଳଚେର ଥର୍ମାଲ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ଷ୍ଟେଜ୍-୩ ସମ୍ପ୍ରସାରଣ ପ୍ରକଳ୍ପକୁ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଧାରିତ ସମୟ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରି ଦେଶକୁ ନିରନ୍ତର, ନିର୍ଭରଯୋଗ୍ୟ ଏବଂ ସ୍ଥାୟୀ ବିଦ୍ୟୁତ ଯୋଗାଣ ଦେବା ପ୍ରତି ପ୍ରତିବଦ୍ଧତାକୁ ପୁନଃ ଦୋହରାଇଛି।
CEA Chairperson Reviews Progress of Stage -III Expansion Project at NTPC Talcher Thermal
Talcher, 5 August 2026: Shri Ghanshyam Prasad, Chairperson of the Central Electricity Authority (CEA), visited NTPC Talcher Thermal Power Station on Tuesday to review the progress of the Stage-III Expansion Project (2×660 MW), a key initiative aimed at strengthening the nation’s power generation capacity.
During his visit, Shri Prasad formally inaugurated 400KV GIS Control Room in august Presence of Shri Somes Bandyopadhyay RED ER II HQ, Shri Vijay Chand, Executive Director, TTPS, Sri. Praveer Kumar, GM (Project), Shri. Ashish Ku. Sahoo, Sub-Collector, Talcher Shri. Rohit Kumar AGM (HR) Shri. Anjan Sahoo, AGM (EMG) and senior officials of BHEL. On the occasion Shri Prasad also visited different construction site like switchyard, NDCT, MPH Boiler, Chimney etc.
On completion of site visit, Shri Prasad chaired a comprehensive review meeting with senior NTPC officials. The meeting focused on the timely completion and commissioning of the Stage-III units to meet the growing electricity demand of Odisha and the country.
Shri Prasad appreciated the significant progress achieved in the project and commended the team for maintaining high standards of safety compliance during construction. Addressing the gathering, Shri Prasad lauded the dedication and commitment of the employees and project team in rebuilding one of India’s historic power stations into a modern, efficient and environmentally sustainable generating station. He expressed confidence that the project would make a significant contribution towards strengthening the nation’s energy security and supporting future economic growth.
The visit reaffirmed NTPC Talcher Thermal’s commitment to the timely execution and commissioning of the Stage-III Expansion Project, which will play a vital role in meeting the country’s growing power requirements while ensuring sustainable and reliable energy for the future.
