ଅନୁଗୋଳ – ୨୨ ଜାନୁଆରୀ ୨୦୨୬ ଦିନ, ପ୍ରାୟ ୪:୫୬ ସମୟରେ, ପୁରୁଣାଗଡ଼ ସେକ୍ସନର ଫରେଷ୍ଟ ଗାର୍ଡ ନୂଆବଡାଦଣ୍ଡାସାହି ଗ୍ରାମରୁ ଗ୍ରାମ ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ ଦୁଇଟି ରକ୍ ପାଇଥନ୍ ଥିବା ସମ୍ପର୍କରେ ଏକ ଜରୁରୀ ଫୋନ୍ ପାଇଥିଲେ। ତୁରନ୍ତ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରି, ବନ ଦଳ, ଜଣେ ପ୍ରଶିକ୍ଷିତ ସାପ ଧରାଳିଙ୍କ ସହ ସମନ୍ୱୟ ରଖି ଏବଂ ସ୍ନେକ୍ ହେଲ୍ପଲାଇନ୍ ସହାୟତାରେ, ଘଟଣାସ୍ଥଳରେ ପହଞ୍ଚି ଏକ ସୁରକ୍ଷିତ ଏବଂ ସଫଳ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରିଥିଲେ।ଉଭୟ ପାଇଥନ୍କୁ କୌଣସି ଆଘାତ ବିନା ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରାଯାଇଥିଲା ଏବଂ ପରବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ସମୟରେ ଶ୍ରୀ ପି. କେ. ସିଂହ, ଅନୁଗୁଳ ବନ ଡିଭିଜନର ଏମଭିୟୁ ଦଳର କର୍ମଚାରୀଙ୍କ ସହିତ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ପରୀକ୍ଷା ଏବଂ ଚିକିତ୍ସା କରିଥିଲେ। ସମସ୍ତ ଆବଶ୍ୟକୀୟ ଔପଚାରିକତା ସମାପ୍ତ ହେବା ପରେ, ରେଞ୍ଜ କର୍ମଚାରୀଙ୍କ ନିକଟତର ତଦାରଖରେ ଉଦ୍ଧାର ପାଇଥନ୍କୁ ସୁରକ୍ଷିତ ଭାବରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ପ୍ରାକୃତିକ ବାସସ୍ଥାନରେ ଛାଡି ଦିଆଯାଇଥିଲା। ଉଦ୍ଧାର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଶ୍ରୀ ଋତୁପର୍ଣ୍ଣା ବିଶ୍ୱାଲ (ବନରକ୍ଷକ), ଶ୍ରୀ ବିଶ୍ୱରଞ୍ଜନ ବେହେରା (ସର୍ପମିତ୍ର), ଶ୍ରୀ ସିଦ୍ଧାନ୍ତ କୁମାର ଦାସ (ହାତୀ ଦଳ), ଶ୍ରୀ ବାବୁ ଖଟୁଆ ଏବଂ ଶ୍ରୀ ନିର୍ମଳ ଦେହୁରୀ (ଗଜମିତ୍ର), ଅନୁଗୁଳ ବନ ବିଭାଗର MVU ଦଳ ଏବଂ ଜଣେ ପ୍ରଶିକ୍ଷିତ ସାପ ଧରାଳିଙ୍କ ସକ୍ରିୟ ସହଯୋଗରେ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା, ଯାହା ବନ୍ୟପ୍ରାଣୀ ସଂରକ୍ଷଣ ଏବଂ ଜନସାଧାରଣଙ୍କ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରଭାବଶାଳୀ ସମନ୍ୱୟକୁ ପ୍ରତିଫଳିତ କରିଥାଏ।
On 22 January 2026, at around 4:56 PM, the Forest Guard of Purunagarh Section received an urgent call from Nuabadadandasahi village regarding the presence of two Rock Pythons within the village area. Acting promptly, the forest team, in coordination with a well-trained snake catcher and with the assistance of the Snake Helpline, reached the site and carried out a safe and successful rescue operation.
Both pythons were rescued without any injury and were subsequently examined and treated by Shri P. K. Singh, along with the staff of the MVU team of Angul Forest Division. After completion of all necessary formalities, the rescued pythons were safely released into their natural habitat, under the close supervision of the Range staff.
The rescue operation was conducted with the active involvement of Shri Rutuparna Biswal (Forest Guard), Shri Biswaranjan Behera (Sarpamitra), Shri Sidhanta Kumar Das (Elephant Squad), Shri Babu Khatua and Shri Nirmal Dehury (Gajamitras), the MVU team of Angul Forest Division, and a well-trained snake catcher, reflecting effective coordination for wildlife conservation and public safety.
