ନାଲକୋ ନଗର : ନାଲକୋର ସର୍ବପୁରାତନ ଶ୍ରମିକ ସଙ୍ଗଠନ ତଥା ନାଲକୋ ସିପିପିର ସ୍ଵୀକୃତିପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ସଙ୍ଗଠନ ନାଲକୋ ଶ୍ରମିକ କଂଗ୍ରେସ ୟୁନିୟନ ଏହାର ଏହାର 44ତମ ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା ଦିବସ ସମାରୋହ ନାଲକୋ ଟ୍ରେନିଂ ସେଣ୍ଟର ଅଡିଟୋରିୟମ ଠାରେ ଅନୁଷ୍ଠିତ ହୋଇଯାଇଅଛି। ଏହି ଅବସରରେ ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠାତା ଶ୍ରୀ ରମେଶ ଚନ୍ଦ୍ର ଜେନାଙ୍କୁ ସିପିପି ସ୍ୱୀକୃତି ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ସଙ୍ଗଠନ ନାଲକୋ ଶ୍ରମିକ କଂଗ୍ରେସ ୟୁନିୟନ ତରଫରୁ ଶ୍ରଦ୍ଧାଞ୍ଜଳି ଜ୍ଞାପନ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା। ଏହି ଅବସରରେ ଆନ୍ତର୍ଜାତିକ ଖ୍ୟାତିସମ୍ପନ୍ନ ଟ୍ରେଡ ୟୁନିୟନ ଲିଡର ତଥା ଓଡ଼ିଶା ଆଇଏନଟିୟୁସି ସଭାପତି ଡକ୍ଟର ରାମଚନ୍ଦ୍ର ଖୁଣ୍ଟିଆ ମୁଖ୍ୟ ଅତିଥି ଭାବେ ଯୋଗଦେଇ 44ତମ ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା ଦିବସ ପାଳନ ଅବସରରେ ଏହାର ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠାତା ଶ୍ରୀ ରମେଶ ଚନ୍ଦ୍ର ଜେନାଙ୍କ ସହିତ ତାଙ୍କର ଟ୍ରେଡ ୟୁନିୟନ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରେ ୪୦ବର୍ଷର ସମ୍ପର୍କ ଓ ଓଡ଼ିଶା ଶ୍ରମିକ ଆନ୍ଦୋଳନର ଜଣେ ଆଗଧାଡିର ପ୍ରବକ୍ତା ଥିଲେ ଓ ଶ୍ରମିକ କଲ୍ୟାଣ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରେ ଶ୍ରୀ ଜେନଙ୍କର ଅତୁଳନୀୟ ଅବଦାନ ଥିଲା। ମୁଖ୍ୟଅତିଥି ଶ୍ରୀ ଖୁଣ୍ଟିଆ ନାଲକୋ ର ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା ଓ ନବରତ୍ନ ମାନ୍ୟତା ପ୍ରଦାନ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରେ ତତ୍କାଳୀନ କଂଗ୍ରେସ ସରକାର ପ୍ରମୁଖ ଭୂମିକା ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଥିଲା, କିନ୍ତୁ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରେ ସବୁ ସାଧନ ଥାଇ ପବ୍ଲିକ ସେକ୍ଟର ଉଦ୍ୟୋଗ ଦୁର୍ବଳ କାହିଁକି ବୋଲି ପ୍ରଶ୍ନ କରିଥିଲେ ! ନିଯୁକ୍ତି, ନିବେଶ ଓ ପ୍ଲାଣ୍ଟର ସମ୍ପ୍ରସାରଣରେ ବିଳମ୍ବ ଓ ଠିକା ଶ୍ରମିକଙ୍କ କଲ୍ୟାଣ ଉପରେ ଗୁରୁତ୍ବ ଦେବାକୁ ଦାବି ଜଣାଇଥିଲେ। ଏହି ଅବସରରେ ମୁଖ୍ୟବକ୍ତା ଭାବେ ସ୍ମେଲ୍ଟର ଓ ପାୱାର କମ୍ପ୍ଲେକ୍ସ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟନିର୍ବାହୀ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶକ ଶ୍ରୀ ସଚ୍ଚିଦାନନ୍ଦ ଜେନା, ସମ୍ମାନିତ ଅତିଥି ଭାବେ ସିଜିଏମ ସିପିପି ଶ୍ରୀ ସତ୍ୟବାଦୀ ମିଶ୍ର ,ସିଜିଏମ ଶ୍ରୀ ହିମାଂଶୁ ଶେଖର ପ୍ରଧାନ, ରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରୀୟ ମଜଦୂର କଂଗ୍ରେସ ରାଜ୍ୟ ଉପସଭାପତି ମଦନ ମୋହନ ଧଲ, ସାଧାରଣ ସମ୍ପାଦକ ଶ୍ରୀ କିଶୋର ଜେନା, ସଙ୍ଗଠନର ମୁଖ୍ୟ ଉପଦେଷ୍ଟା ଶ୍ରୀ ରାଜୀବ ଜେନା, ନେସ ସଭାପତି ଶ୍ରୀ ନିର୍ମଳ ସାମଲ, ପ୍ରଦୀପ୍ତ ଦାସ ପ୍ରମୁଖ ଯୋଗଦାନ କରିଥିଲେ। ଏହି ଅବସରରେ ନାଲକୋ ଶ୍ରମିକ କଂଗ୍ରେସ ୟୁନିୟନ ତରଫରୁ ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା ଦିବସରେ ଏକ ସ୍ମରଣିକା “ଶ୍ରମ ସନ୍ଦେଶ” ଉନ୍ମୋଚନ ଅତିଥି ମାନଙ୍କ ଦ୍ଵାରା କରାଯାଇଥିଲା।ଏହି ଅବସରରେ ସାଧାରଣ ସମ୍ପାଦକ ବିଭବ ଜେନା ଉଲ୍ଲେଖ କରିଥିଲେ ଯେ ନାଲକୋ ଶ୍ରମିକ କଂଗ୍ରେସ ୟୁନିୟନ, କାରଖାନା ଓ କର୍ମଚାରୀଙ୍କ ଉନ୍ନତି ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରତିଶ୍ରୁତିବଦ୍ଧ। ସିପିପି ପ୍ଲାଣ୍ଟର ସମ୍ପ୍ରସାରଣ, ନୂତନ କର୍ମଚାରୀ ନିଯୁକ୍ତି, ପୁରୁଣା ପ୍ଲାଣ୍ଟର ସଠିକ ରକ୍ଷଣାବେକ୍ଷଣ, କୋଇଲା ପରିଚାଳନା, ହାଉସକିପିଂ ଓ କର୍ମଚାରୀଙ୍କ ନାର୍ଯ୍ଯ ଦାବି ହାସଲ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରେ ସଙ୍ଗଠନ ସଫଳତା ହାସଲ କରିପାରିଛି। ଆଗାମୀ ଦିନରେ ଆଲୁମିନିୟମ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରେ ଘରୋଇ କମ୍ପାନୀର ଉପସ୍ଥିତି ଓ ଉତ୍ପାଦନ କ୍ଷମତା ବୃଦ୍ଧି ନାଲକୋ ପାଇଁ ଆହ୍ବାନ ସୃଷ୍ଠି କରିବ ଓ ସେହି କ୍ରମରେ ନାଲକୋ କ୍ଷମତା ବୃଦ୍ଧି ଅପରିହାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ବୋଲି ଶ୍ରୀ ବିଭବ ଜେନା କହିଛନ୍ତି। ସଭାପତି ଶ୍ରୀ ହେମନ୍ତ ପ୍ରଧାନ ଆଗାମୀ ଦିନରେ ସଙ୍ଗଠନ ସେବା ଓ ସମର୍ପଣ ଭାବ ନେଇ ଲୋକଙ୍କ କାମ କରିବ ବୋଲି କହିଥିଲେ। ଅନ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଶ୍ରମିକ ନେତା ଶ୍ରୀ ମଳୟ ନାୟକ ସ୍ବାଗତ ଭାଷଣ ଦେବା ସହିତ ମଞ୍ଚ ପରିଚାଳନା କରିଥିଲେ । ଅନ୍ୟ ମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ସଙ୍ଗଠନର ଶ୍ରୀ ଅଶୋକ ବେହେରା , ପ୍ରଣବ ଜେନା, ଦେବାଶିଷ ମିଶ୍ର, ସମରାୟ ମୁର୍ମୁ, ଜିତେନ୍ଦ୍ର ଆଳୁକ୍, ଆର୍ତ୍ତତ୍ରାଣ ସାମଲ, ହରେକୃଷ୍ଣ ନାଥ, ଅଜୟ ନାୟକ, ବାପୁ ଭଞ୍ଜ , ନାଗେଶ୍ଵର ବେହେରା , ଟିକନ୍ ଦେହୁରୀ, ସୁବାସ ନାଏକ , କେଶବ ରଣା, ତ୍ରିନାଥ ମହାପାତ୍ର, ଦୀପକ ସାନ୍ତ୍ରା ଘନଶ୍ୟାମ ଦାସ, ପଙ୍କଜ ମହାରଣା, ଡାକ୍ତର ସାହୁ, ବିଜୟ ପ୍ରଧାନ, ମୋନୁ ସିଂ, ପ୍ରଭୁ ପତି, ଉତ୍କଳ ବଳବନ୍ତ ରାୟ, ସୁଶାନ୍ତ ଭୁନିଆ, ସିଦ୍ଧାନ୍ତ ପ୍ରଧାନବିର୍ସା ସିଦ୍ଧୁ, ସୁନ୍ଦର ମୋହନ କିସ୍କୁ ପ୍ରମୁଖ ସହଯୋଗ କରିଥିଲେ। ଏହି ଅବସରରେ ନାଲକୋ ଶ୍ରମିକ କଂଗ୍ରେସ ୟୁନିୟନ ତରଫରୁ ଆନ୍ତର୍ଜାତିକ କ୍ୱାଲଟି ସର୍କଲରେ ସ୍ଵର୍ଣ୍ଣ ପଦକ ପାଇଥିବା ସିପିପିର ତେଜସ ଟିମକୁ ସମ୍ବର୍ଦ୍ଧନା ଦିଆ ଯାଇଥିଲା।
44th Foundation Day of Nalco Shramik Congress Union Celebrated; Souvenir “Shrama Sandesha” Released

Nalco’s oldest trade union and the recognised union of Nalco CPP — Nalco Shramik Congress Union (NSCU) — celebrated its 44th Foundation Day at the Nalco Training Centre Auditorium. On this occasion, the union paid rich tributes to its founder Shri Ramesh Chandra Jena, acknowledging his lifelong contribution to the labour movement.
Internationally acclaimed trade union leader and President of Odisha INTUC, Dr. Ramachandra Khuntia, attended the programme as the Chief Guest. In his address, he recollected his four-decade-long association with founder Shri Ramesh Chandra Jena and described him as one of the frontrunners of Odisha’s labour movement whose contribution to workers’ welfare was unparalleled.
The Chief Guest, Shri Khuntia, also highlighted the crucial role played by the then Congress Government in the establishment of Nalco and in granting it Navratna status. He questioned why, despite having all resources today, several public sector undertakings appear weakened. He urged for expediting recruitment, investment, and plant expansion, and emphasised the welfare of contractual workers.
The event was graced by Smelter & Power Complex Executive Director Shri Sachidanand Jena as Chief Speaker, and C.G.M. (CPP) Shri Satyabadi Mishra, C.G.M. Shri Himanshu Shekhar Pradhan, State Vice President of INTUC Shri Madan Mohan Dhal, General Secretary Shri Kishore Jena, Chief Advisor Shri Rajeev Jena, NES President Shri Nirmal Samal, and Shri Pradeepta Das, among others.
At the ceremony, the souvenir “Shrama Sandesha” was formally released by the dignitaries.
General Secretary Shri Bibhab Jena stated that the Nalco Shramik Congress Union is fully committed to the development of the plant and the welfare of its employees. He highlighted the union’s achievements in CPP plant expansion, new employee recruitment, proper maintenance of old units, coal handling, housekeeping improvement, and resolution of long-pending employee demands.
He added that the growing presence of private aluminium companies and the need for higher domestic production pose new challenges for Nalco, making capacity expansion imperative.
Union President Shri Hemant Pradhan said that the organisation will continue to serve with dedication and responsibility in the days ahead.
Labour leader Shri Malaya Nayak delivered the welcome address and anchored the proceedings. Other contributors included Ashok Behera, Pranab Jena, Debasish Mishra, Samaraya Murmu, Jitendra Aluk, Artatrana Samal, Harekrishna Nath, Ajay Nayak, Bapu Bhanja, Nageswar Behera, Tikna Dehuri, Subash Naik, Keshab Rana, Trinath Mahapatra, Deepak Santra, Ghanashyam Das, Pankaj Maharana, Daktar Sahu, Bijay Pradhan, Monu Singh, Prabhu Pati, Utkal Balwant Ray, Sushant Bhunia, Siddhanta Pradhan, Birsa Sidhu, Sundar Mohan Kisku and many others.
On this occasion, the Tejas Team of CPP, which won the Gold Medal at the International Quality Circle Competition, was felicitated by NSCU.
